Welcome to the Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church Website!

 

Fayette Chapel is an old time United Baptist Church located in Paris, Kentucky.  The church was organized in 2000 and is a member of the Paint Union Association of United Baptists. 


-We use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible and believe in being born again by the spirit.
-Our church does not use musical instruments during worship services, preferring  to sing using only the human voice which God gave us to praise Him. 
-Our ministers are not salaried, nor do they receive or expect any financial compensation for doing the Lord's work.
-We do not have formal Sunday schools, but believe in teaching through the preaching of God's word.  Members are expected and encouraged to read and study the scriptures and to continually work to edify and strengthen one another.
-We believe in the old time practice of everyone worshipping together in the church, feeling that the young learn from observing the old, and the old from observing the young. 
-We strive to maintain the spiritual and scriptural simplicity in worship by being careful about introducing things in the church that are not authorized by scripture.
-One of our most cherished practices is that although we have an order of worship, we do not have a rigid or set program, allowing the church flexibility to be led and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit.
